Now

Right now I am working at the Computational Ecology and Environmental Science Lab in Microsoft Research Cambridge (in UK not MA). Here is a link to one project I am involved in. It's about biodiversity in cloud forests, which are forests that grow on top of the mountains where clouds often form.

I will soon have a work webpage with more detailed description of my projects and research.

Before

When I was teaching Ecological Models Class in the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at University of California Santa Barbara, I wrote a basic Matlab tutorial (in pdf). I have been asked for it a couple of times, so I put it here up for downloading. Feel free to use it (give me credit). I think that a more updated version was created in later years by Roger Nisbet.

My publications
